Actor Crispin Glover, best known for Back to the Future. is being accused of battery by an ex-girlfriend, claims which he strongly denies.

62-year-old Crispin Glover, who plays George McFly in the iconic Back to the Future series, has been acting for multiple decades. His latest project, Mr K, came out a couple of years ago to a decent critical response. But the actor is now embroiled in a lawsuit by an ex, anonymously named in court filings as Jane Doe.

The ex-girlfriend, a UK-based model, claims Crispin lured her to L. A under the guise of helping her secure a career in Hollywood, complete with a “home and a job”.

In court filings accessed by the Daily Mail, Crispin strongly denies the accusations and accuses Jane Doe of suing him for money.

“I believe she did so to intimidate me into paying her to settle and therefore avoid negative media attention which could damage my future ability to earn money in the entertainment industry,” he said.

Jane Doe claims she was ‘held captive’

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe alleges that after she moved to the US  to pursue a career, she was expected to “basically serve him as a live-in girlfriend/sex slave”, escalating into physical violence when she left him, as she claimed he “grabbed” and “choked” her, “leaving a visible scar on her neck.

She also claimed she was: “essentially held captive and used for sex and free labour by Mr Glover.”

Crispin denies these allegations completely, claiming that Jane Doe arrived at his apartment with an unknown man who verbally threatened him. He goes on to claim that Jane Doe physically attacked him and scratched her fingernails down his face. Both Jane and Crispin have provided photographic “evidence” for their physical abuse claims. After the alleged assault, Crispin claims he contacted the police, and Jane Doe was arrested.

The next court hearing for this case is 20th July.
