The incredibly popular Life Is Strange games are getting a TV adaptation, but the latest cast announcement has disappointed a lot of the series’ supporters. We’ve been waiting for a Life Is Strange TV show for years now, and the project was finally greenlit in late 2025. After the success of The Last of Us, Arcane and Fallout, TV adaptations of beloved video games have finally entered a golden era. Prime Video will produce the series, and currently has no official release date. Slowly, casting announcements have trickled in. It was revealed in March that Tatum Grace Hopkins will play Max Caulfield, and Chloe Price will be played by Maisy Stella. But the latest announcement has been dividing fans. Billy Barrat will be playing Nathan Prescott, Emily Carey as Victoria Chase, Fally Rakotohavana as Warren Graham, Mia Issac as Kate Marsh, and Esther McGreggor as Rachel Amber. But others are defending the picks and praising the cast for including lesser-known actors. “Well, at least they are actors that we don’t know. I like the cast so far with the whole Kate and Warren character cast. I think the actor of Kate Marsh, she will crush it honestly, and she will pull our heartstrings through the moments of where Kate gets bullied by Victoria Chase and her friends in LIS1,” @sleepyspookyy on TikTok said. Still, some fans are hoping it’ll bring the story of Max and Chloe to life in a new medium. For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page. Post navigation Next story
