Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright shut down Off Campus drama rumours with season 2 video

They're 'sending kisses'

Just two weeks after fresh rumours of drama between Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright, the Off Campus stars have come together to “send kisses” ahead of season 2. 

To refresh your memory, at the end of August, Belmont unexpectedly removed a whole host of Instagram posts from his page, including multiple that featured him and Ella during the Off Campus press tour. 

It didn’t take long for the fandom to notice. As you’ll know, Belmont, Ella and the rest of the cast shot to overnight fame when the Prime Video series premiered, bringing with it an incredibly intense fandom that has often blurred the lines between the show’s fictional couples and the actors who play them. 

Belmont’s real-life girlfriend Raina Morris even had to publicly address the fans after she accidentally unfollowed Ella on Instagram and faced unfounded “jealousy” allegations. Things got so intense that the official Off Campus account had to send out a message asking fans not to engage in “targeted harassment”.

When Belmont suddenly archived a number of posts featuring Ella last month, the speculation started all over again, despite neither actor actually suggesting anything had gone down. 

But instead of addressing the rumour mill, they’re choosing to be unbothered by the drama, with the latest promo proving there are no issues between them. In a new message from Off Campus, the Garrett and Hannah stars appear side-by-side and the vibes are purely positive. 

“Hi everyone, it’s Ella and Belmont from Off Campus,” Ella says, before Belmont chimes in, “We just wanted to say that we have been so overwhelmed by the response to the first season. You guys made it what it is and we genuinely cannot thank you enough.”

Ella then confirms they’re filming season 2 right now and that it’s going to be “worth the wait.” Alongside the video, the caption reads, “Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli send kisses from the set of Off Campus.”

Now, even this video has faced speculation, with Off Campus fan page Vanessa Bright responding, “I’m just going to say it – season 1 Belmont would have reposted this. He would have been loud and proud of the work they are doing on set. The day he reposts anything related to Off Campus again will be a miracle.”

But, for the most part, fans are just excited to see the duo back together and are happy with the update on season 2, which will make Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) the main couple. 

“I love them so muuuuch,” wrote one, while another said, “More Hannah and Garrett!! Always!” A third quipped, “Okay. Now give us a video of the season 2 leads.” 

Don’t worry, we’ll no doubt be getting more teases in the weeks to come. As for when to expect Off Campus season 2, Prime Video is yet to reveal a release date. 

That said, filming started in June this year, exactly one year after season 1 began production. The first chapter shot from June to October 2025 before releasing in May 2026, so if it follows the same pattern, we can expect Off Campus season 2 to release around May 2027, give or take.
