But don’t leave too early; there are still some last-minute laughs to be had from the potential last edition of the Scary Movie series. Halfway through the credits, there’s a mid-credit scene. Then, if you wait a little longer, the final credits include an extra scene for superfans. Unlike the typical MCU post-credit scenes, neither of these teases a sequel or anything, but they’re still worth your time if you’re down for an extra laugh. It’s been over a decade of waiting for Scary Movie fans, and there’s been no official announcement of a Scary Movie 7 just yet. But don’t lose hope, there’s still potential for a seventh Scary Movie, especially if this one does really well. In an interview with Variety, Marlon Wayans teased what popular horror films the next Scary Movie film could parody, mentioning some of our big faves. “Wait for Scary Movie 7, and we will come back, and we are going to get us some Backrooms, and we are going to get some Obsession,” the writer said.
