The long-awaited Masters of the Universe is finally out, so here are how many post-credits scenes there are and what they mean for the future, according to the director himself.

Travis Knight’s big-budget epic Masters of the Universe, starring supporting roles from huge stars like Jared Leto and Idris Elba, is in cinemas today. Following the trend of most movies nowadays, the action-packed feature has post-credits scenes for fans itching for more He-Man action.

There are multiple Masters of the Universe post-credits scenes

First, we get a bit of fan service for people who loved the original cartoon. Orka addresses the audience at the beginning of the credits, but if you wait a little longer, there’s also another scene with Queen Marlena and Man-At-Arms. No spoilers on what they talk about, but there’s also a feature from She-Ra herself.

Just when you thought it was over, there’s a feature from the formidable  Evil-Lyn. Potential sequel hint? Well, director Travis Knight said we shouldn’t rule that out.

“If the world loves the movie, and they see it, and they demand more, and if our partners at Amazon decide they want to do more, it would be a joy to continue telling stories within this universe.”

“Making this movie has been one of the most joyful experiences of my entire career, and the idea of doing it again with this incredible group of people and this cast fills me with no small amount of delight. But we’ll see. We put everything we had into this movie, and if nothing else comes of it, I’m proud of it. I love the movie. And if people want more, and they demand more, we’ll be happy to give them more.”

With a $250 million budget, it will take quite a bit of success to make a sequel possible, so head to your local cinema and watch Masters of the Universe!
