Rivals is currently five episodes deep into season two, but with the looming threat of a months-long hiatus, I am praying we’ve still got a few episodes left before that occurs. Streamers have this annoying habit of dropping a season in two parts, largely to keep subscriptions up and to stop people binging the series in one sitting. For similar reasons, NOW TV has been dropping The Pitt an episode at a time – even though the second season is done and dusted in the States. Like, wtf were they thinking? And honestly, why kill the momentum like that?” another moaned.
