We’ve only just gotten Rivals back with the release of season two, but for such an in-demand show, the episode release schedule leaves a lot to be desired. Unlike season one of Rivals, season two is set to be much chunkier with 12 episodes instead of a measly eight episodes. The first three episodes dropped last week with the gratuitous nudity we’ve come to expect from the hit show. Then, an episode dropped on May 22, with more set to follow at 7 am each Friday for a few weeks. Here’s the full episode schedule for Rivals season two As I mentioned, the release schedule for Rivals has been super duper annoying. Disney+ dropped three episodes, then one a week, and then there’s a months-long hiatus in our future. Here’s the full release schedule, including the episodes we’ve already watched: Rivals episode 1 – 15 May 2026 Rivals episode 2 – 15 May 2026 Rivals episode 3 – 15 May 2026 Rivals episode 4 – 22 May 2026 Rivals episode 5 – 29 May 2026 Rivals episode 6 – 5 June 2026 Rivals episode 7 – TBC, late 2026 Rivals episode 8 – TBC, late 2026 Rivals episode 9 – TBC, late 2026 Rivals episode 10 – TBC, late 2026 Rivals episode 11 – TBC, late 2026 Rivals episode 12 – TBC, late 2026 Credit: Hulu It’s not yet clear when Rivals will be returning to screens in late 2026, but companies are notorious for doing this for a pretty sneaky reason. By splitting a show into two, these corporations can ensure that viewers don’t cancel their subscriptions after streaming the thing they want to watch. Regardless, people are miffed. “Yeah, no one can convince me that this four MONTHS GAP between Rivals season part one and two is a good idea. A month or two I could get behind, but this long? No,” one person said on Twitter. “It’s gonna hurt the show as they are finally getting some momentum and then they disappear? People will forget about them.” Another said: “Literally, I’m so confused on who thought this was a good idea ??? Rivals is a binge or weekly release show, not this two-part nonsense!” And someone else wrote: “I’m always against bullying, but I may need to make an exception for Hulu and Disney+ because having a 5-month break between part one and two of the new season of rivals should be illegal. Like, wtf were they thinking? And honestly, why kill the momentum like that?” For all the latest film and TV updates and hot takes, like our Facebook page.
