Shannon has been a writer for The Tab since 2024 and became features editor for the Lincoln Tab in January 2025. She also writes national news stories for The Tab and has written stories for Oxford, St Andrews and Edinburgh. She also co-founded and manages a social media brand based on Lincoln student life. She has previous editorial experience as a proofreader at Sanroo Publishing.

Education

Shannon Darkins is currently in her third year of an English and Creative Writing degree at the University of Lincoln. At A Level, she studied Psychology, Sociology and English Literature and Language.
