Current affairs, University of Nottingham campus culture and events, UK politics, and American history, politics, and culture

  • I have a strong passion for acting and public speaking, achieving high distinctions across Grades 1–8, as well as Gold Medal distinctions in both disciplines from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
  • Alongside my studies, I work for Carpe Noctum (more commonly known as Crisis!), contributing to Nottingham’s vibrant nightlife and events scene. I enjoy being part of what makes Nottingham unique.
  • I am also passionate about mental health and wellbeing, and I am a trained mentor for the Mind mental health charity, supporting others through guidance and active listening.

Experience

My experience is rooted in public speaking and performance. I have achieved 12 distinctions through LAMDA in acting, verse & prose, and public speaking. I have also competed 10 times in the North London Festival of Music and Drama, winning 7 awards, including 3 first-place finishes. Alongside this, my degree continually develops my writing, research, and critical thinking skills, particularly in analysing complex historical and political topics.

Education

I am currently studying History with American Studies at the University of Nottingham. Previously, I completed A-Levels in History, Politics, and Geography, alongside an EPQ focused on Russian geopolitics.
