Experience

Luisa began writing for The Durham Tab as a student writer during her year abroad in 2025. In July 2026, she was promoted to Features Editor. She covers a wide range of topics related to student life at Durham, from practical advice and personal reflections to culture, campus life, and student experiences. Her work includes features on studying abroad and the third-culture kid experience, as well as popular articles such as The 10 Famous Women You May Not Have Realised Studied at Durham. Through her writing, Luisa aims to inform, entertain, and spark conversation within the Durham student community.

Education

Luisa is a fourth-year undergraduate studying Health and Human Sciences at Durham University. Having recently returned from a year abroad at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, she brings an international perspective to her studies. She grew up and completed her education in Germany before moving to the UK to begin her degree.
