  • Jay started working for The Tab Bournemouth in 2024 and is an aspiring journalist and editor for fashion, lifestyle and celebrity magazines such as Wonderland and Vogue.
  • Jay enjoys an array of hobbies including reading and writing, baking, gardening, sea swimming and pottery painting. You can usually find her lost in a Taylor Jenkins Reid novel or watching the tennis!
  • Having suffered from Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia for most of her life, Jay is passionate about raising awareness for chronic illnesses and advocating for women's healthcare.

Experience

Jay is the Editor in Chief at Bournemouth University's in-house publishing company: Fresher Publishing. Her role involves curating Fresher Publishing’s much loved literary magazines. From handling submissions to editing, formatting and designing covers, she is involved in the process from start to finish.

Education

Jay is currently in her third year of study at Bournemouth University where she enjoys both the academic and creative aspects of her BA English degree.
