Looking for your latest fix? Well, Disney+ has just announced three new reality TV shows
Some very famous faces are set to return to our TV screens
If you’re 12 seasons deep into Love Island and looking for a bit of variety, well, you’re in luck because we have some other options for you.
Reality shows are everywhere these days, ranging from Naked Attraction to Love on the Spectrum, and I Kissed a Girl to Too Hot to Handle.
However, these shows rarely give the iconic British humour we truly need. Gone are the days of unscripted, drunk Love Islanders drama and getting dumped outside a sofa shop. At this point, Come Dine With Me is the only show I can trust to give me truly unhinged, unfiltered drama.
But, this week Disney+ changed everything, announcing three new British reality shows to be released in 2026. Long live cheesy reality TV!
Blind Date
Before Married at First Sight and Love Is Blind, there was Blind Date.
It was no doubt something your parents watched, and it’s now coming back to TV via Disney+.
The mystery dating show ran from 1985 to 2003, and was hosted by the late Cilla Black.
In its retro days, three contestants would be visible to the audience, but not a separate member of the opposite sex, who would ask them questions from behind a wall. The single contestant would then choose one of the mystery people to be their date based solely on their responses to questions. The pair would then pick an envelope revealing where their first date would be. Locations could range from the Maldives to an ice cream truck – unlike Love Island, not everyone got a free holiday.

The next episode would show the couple’s date, and finish with a studio interview revealing if they stayed together. A lot more chaste than Too Hot to Handle! The show produced three married couples over its run – certainly a higher success rate than Married at First Sight.

Disney+ has promised to revamp the show’s format and make it more steamy, with “unique, innovative and head-turning format twists”. The couples will instead be spending an entire summer together instead of just one date, and new partners are always waiting behind the iconic wall to be subbed in. We can’t wait for all the drama it’ll bring!
If you’ve deleted Hinge for the fifth time already this year, sign yourself up to Blind Dates instead! At least with the dating show, you get a free holiday, instead of an aspiring DJ who won’t pay for your drink.
Jamie and Sophie: Raising Chelsea

If you’re missing the iconic original cast of Made in Chelsea, you’re not alone. And thank God, these southern spouses still have more to give us.
Moving from podcasts to our screens, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are sharing the highs, lows, tears and joy that come with being first time parents. And they’re taking us along for the ride!
A Disney+ synopsis tells us that we’ll see “the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, balancing their busy professional lives, moving into their first family home, navigating support – and unsolicited advice – from loved ones”.
Additionally, they’ve promised “moments of warmth, humour and of course, a healthy dose of drama as the countdown approaches…”.
@nearlyparents The capital of America is in fact not New York ❌ 🤣 New episode out now search ‘nearlyparents podcast’ on YouTube, Spotify or Apple. #pregnancy #baby #pregnancyjourney #jamielaing #sophiehabboo #generalknowledge #quiz #podcasts #clips #nearlyparents #newparents
We’re always here for a mix of drama and wholesome moments, and can’t wait to see the iconic duo on our screens again! Hopefully some of our favourite Made in Chelsea original cast members will be making cameos!
The Rooneys
Wagatha Christie is back again! Keeping Up With the Kardashians meets The Real Housewives of Cheshire in Disney’s third new reality TV show.

The Rooneys follows the iconic detective Coleen Rooney and her husband (and footballer too, I guess) Wayne.
The docuseries will show us their everyday family life, holidays, celebrations and struggles. While we can’t imagine anything will top the frenzy of The Real Wagatha Story, we’ll be tuning in anyway in the hopes that we’re proved wrong.
