Wait, was Joe and Maddi’s Las Vegas wedding on Southern Hospitality legally-binding?!
They haven’t even been together that long
Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese’s Las Vegas wedding on Southern Hospitality was a total whirlwind. They were in separate relationships before getting together, yet they’ve tied the knot quicker than we can say Bravo. So, I need to know if they legally got married, because they’ve honestly moved faster than Joe Bradley has ever tried to snog a girl before. And that’s a lot, as we all know.
Joe and Maddi had a wedding in Las Vegas
Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese randomly got married in Las Vegas during a cast night out. Literally everyone was drunk, smiling and crying, and Joe woke up the next day asking what happened last night. Maddi was wearing a pink wig and white veil at the Las Vegas chapel, where they were pronounced “partners for life.”
Maddi leaned back while sealing the deal with Joe in a sweet kiss, while their cast members cheered them on. And yes, Joe genuinely wanted to marry Maddi during that moment on Southern Hospitality season 3, episode 7, and it was thanks to an Elvis impersonator who talked them through the entire drunken thing.
“I really wanted to surprise Maddi with something truly romantic. It wasn’t only Maddi that needed some love and laughter, it was the entire group — especially after that crazy dinner,” he told The Daily Dish. “I wanted to remind everyone we should be having a blast on vacation, but more importantly let me Maddi know I am 100 percent committed. A real marriage isn’t only a dream for us, but a reality in the future.”
Was their wedding legally-binding?

No, Maddi and Joe are not legally married. She’s since said she’s “too busy” to tie the knot with Joe in a real ceremony, so it’s not like they’re going to genuinely get married any time soon, despite the commitment ceremony. Joe revealed the wedding was not a real marriage beginning during an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish on February 12.
Although they hit several bumps in their relationship after the fake ceremony, they’re still together today. Joe said: “As you’ll see in weeks to come, the ceremony sparked some real concerns of our future we hadn’t addressed yet. Going back to Charleston wasn’t the picture perfect honeymoon we hope to have one day.”
