Wait, how much money could Bianca Censori get if she divorces Kanye West?!

There are plenty of rumours swirling about in the aether that Kanye West and Bianca Censori might get divorced. Tabloid sites reported she was finally ditching him, but this morning Kanye West’s lawyer announced they were together in Los Angeles for Valentine’s Day. For argument’s sake, here’s a deep-dive into how much money is involved in Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s marriage, and how much money she could potentially get if she ever divorces him.

Just how massively rich is Kanye West in 2025?

Er, so Kanye West’s own statements on this are rather different to what finance experts think. So, once upon a time, Kanye West’s net worth was definitely over $2 billion (£1.6 billion). He has made a fortune from actual music, but most of his wealth actually came from clothing brand deals. Kanye claimed he actually had more money than this. After he made the Forbes’ billionaires list, he texted an editor at Forbes, “It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count.”

However, his net worth has reportedly plummeted since then. After Kanye West made a series of very controversial comments in 2022, Adidas gave up on their partnership with him. Balenciaga and Gap also cut ties with him. Forbes now estimates Kanye West’s net worth in 2024 is around $400 million (£318 million). This money comes from album sales and property. He actually kept a 5 per cent stake in Kim Kardashian’s very successful shapewear company Skims after their divorce.

Despite Forbes’s estimates, Kanye still claims to be a billionaire.

Like, she was rich by the standards of us mortals, but not rich by Kanye West standards. Bianca Censori is from a boujie Australian family and went to a fancy private school in Melbourne. She graduated with a Master’s in architecture in 2020, then started working as an architectural designer for Kanye’s clothing company Yeezy. Architectural designers in the US generally make between $60,000 and $90,000 a year. She’s now the head of architecture at Yeezy. Bianca reportedly has a net worth of about $1 million to $2 million by herself. Since being in a relationship with Kanye West, she’s scored some high-paying modelling gigs.

So, we don’t know whether Bianca Censori and Kanye West have any kind of prenup. Kanye and Kim Kardashian didn’t have one. They actually kept their businesses and houses pretty separate while they were married. Logically speaking, it would have been sensible for Kanye West to have a prenuptial agreement with Bianca Censori as well? But logic and sense do not appear to be his strongest skills in life.

A source apparently told the Daily Mail back in October 2024: “Her friends believe that she is ready to take him for what he is worth and walk away a very rich woman as they did not sign a prenup.”

In Californian law, divorcing couples with no prenup generally split assets 50-50, regardless of who actually earned those assets and how long the couple were married. If Kanye West and Bianca Censori don’t have a prenup and do get a divorce, then in theory Bianca could end up with as much money as $200 million (£159 million).

Although, the MailOnline did claim in February 2025 that the couple agreed before their wedding in 2022 that if they divorce, Bianca would get a payment of $5 million (£4 million). Which is surely small change for Kanye West?
