This person creepily predicted the exact Wicked cast years ago and people are freaking out

After a huge build-up, Wicked is finally here and the cast couldn’t be more perfect.

Loads of celebrities auditioned, but we couldn’t imagine anyone else as Glinda or Elphaba.

Creepily, one random social media user predicted that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo would play them years ago.

In a 2019 X post, @theisaiahbiggs wrote: “Cynthia Erivo for Elphaba. Ariana Grande for Galinda. You’re welcome.”

That was five whole years ago, long before the cast got announced, so it’s a strange coincidence.

He also shared the post on the exact day that Ariana released her number one single thank u, next.

At the time, nobody knew she was going to put music to one side and go back to acting.

A resurfaced tweet from 2019 predicted Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s casting in ‘Wicked.’

The prediction is freaking people out, with one person commenting: “Time travel is real.”

“Someone get the author of this tweet to play the lottery, he clearly has a gift,” said another.

A third person added: “That’s like six years ago. How is that even possible. Some kind of witchywitchywoo.”

The film’s director Jon M. Chu announced that Ariana and Cynthia were cast as the lead roles in 2021.

Ariana shared a series of photos from the moment she found out on Instagram and wrote: “Thank goodness.”

Cynthia did the same and wrote the cute caption: “Pink goes good with green.”

“Dear Cynthia, honored doesn’t even begin to cover it. I cannot wait to hug you. See you in Oz,” Ariana later added.

Ever since she was a little girl, it had always been the 31-year-old’s dream to appear in Wicked.

In an interview 11 years ago, Ariana was asked who she’d rather play in Wicked and she instantly replied with “Glinda”.

It was truly meant to be, and you can tell how happy she was by her reaction from the moment she got the part.

She immediately broke down in tears as the producer revealed: “We want you to be our Glinda the Good”.

“I don’t know what to say,” Ariana replied. “Oh my god, thank you. I love her so much I’m gonna take such good care of her.”

However, Cynthia had never mentioned Wicked before, so that prediction’s really wild.
