Blake Lively interviewers ‘comparing notes’ on her behaviour after It Ends With Us drama
‘It’s not OK to behave like that and I think it needs to be called out’
Journalist Kjersti Flaa has come forward eight years after she resurfaced a 2016 interview with Blake Lively that’s pretty painful to watch. Despite Blake Lively being at the centre of a lot of It Ends With Us drama at the moment, Kjersti swears the timing wasn’t intentional, but instead caused by a culmination of other interviewers opening up about their experiences with her too.
In a YouTube video, she shared her side of the story, which she claimed wasn’t intended to be a jump on the bandwagon at all: “After I posted the interview with Blake Lively that a lot of people have been watching, I got so many questions from people asking why I decided to post that interview now, eight years later, and the reason is, I got contacted by another reporter that told me a story that was a little similar to this one he experienced.”
She also brought up the fact another journalist and her began “comparing notes” on Blake’s behaviour throughout the times they had interviewed her.
“I just felt like, ‘you know what? It’s not OK to behave like that and I think it needs to be called out.’ And so that’s the reason why I did it now, so much later.”
The resurfaced interviews have majorly added to the backlash Blake has been facing already, but Flaa said she “hadn’t read up about all the other controversy that was going on with Blake Lively and her new movie, It Ends With Us.” She mentioned “It was kind of coincidence, I have to say that this ended up being posted right now.”
