Yale goalie Alex Lyon to sign with the NHL

You’d be hard-pressed to find a Bulldogs fan who hasn’t heard of Alex Lyon’s legendary goalkeeping.

The junior leads the country in goals-against average (1.64), tied for second in save percentage (0.936), is a finalist for the Hobey Baker and Mike Richter Awards, and has shattered nearly every goaltending record at Yale.

Several NHL teams have presented their offers to Alex, and he is currently working to choose the best one with the help of his family and an advisor.

With Alex’s signing following up Makai Mason declaring for the NBA draft, it looks like Yale Athletics is rising as a force to be reckoned with.
