Vanderbilt named one of the best colleges to fall in love

And no, it wasn’t based on the number of one night stands

College Magazine ranked Vanderbilt University the sixth best place to fall in love.

Clearly they haven’t been on Tinder here in recent weeks.

Number 1 was Columbia University, with Yale and Harvard picking up their slack at second and third.

The reason for Vanderbilt’s success rate on in the world of romance?  College Magazine noted the stellar on campus facilities:

“The university actively promotes sexual health, providing STD testing, birth control, emergency contraception and even counseling for pregnant women. With these resources by your side, you won’t hesitate to follow Elvis’ advice to “Love Her Tender.””

Is anyone else interested in the criteria used to pick these schools? Did they calculate how many people take their dates to places on the card?

While College Magazine isn’t specific, they mention the ever popular Human Sexuality class, taught by Leslie Smith. If a class about STDs and pregnancy causes people to fall in love, then so be it. But, I hardly think that’s a reason to put us on this list.
