Silver Chevrolet on Menlo crushed by 30ft tree

Sir, is this your vehicle?

High winds last night toppled trees and downed power lines and for one unlucky person on Menlo a large tree crushed their car.

The silver Chevy Tahoe, now part tree, was discovered this morning. It’s rear window was shattered and was visibly sagging under the weight.

As of 41 minutes ago, the Department of Water and Power said 13,000 people, from Exposition Park, to Los Feliz, El Sereno, Hollywood and Echo Park, still had no power because of the damage the strong winds inflicted.

The high wind advisory ended around 9 a.m. according to ABC7. It seems like everyone’s cars are safe, at least for now.
