UMass is one of the fastest growing ‘sugar baby’ colleges in America

Our growth is up 43.64% in 2016

Maybe the reason it’s not #1 is because it’s a state school, but it’s no secret that many in-state students are here to save money, while many out-of-state students are just struggling to get by. Especially after a tuition and fee hike of 6% it seems that UMass students are seeking different alternatives to paying off our crippling debt.

Seeking Arrangement is a sugar daddy dating site where young people can sign up to date others for a cash compensation. The site claims that it allows people to immediately define what they need and want in a relationship. Their profiles allow members to effortlessly state their expectations. This is what they like to call ‘relationships on your terms.’

The total number of registered UMass profiles, minus deleted profiles, or those who removed student status after graduating, is currently 158, with a growth of 48 in just the past month and five days. UMass’ growth compared to 2015 total membership is up 43.64%. That’s 22.35% more than NYU, the college with more sugar babies than any other college in America.

The site also claims that you can earn an average of $3,000 in monthly allowances by going on dates with rich older men or women. On top of which, many sugar babies are paid in gifts and other extravagances.

Site organizer Brandon Wade said: “SeekingArrangement.com has helped facilitate hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of arrangements that have helped students graduate debt-free.

“That’s more than anyone can say of a particular president or Congress.”
