Luke Gatti is going back to college

He’s on ‘accelerated probation’

Ex-Uconn student Luke GattiĀ has been put on accelerated probation after a court hearing Monday following his Oct. 4 arrest for multiple charges, including breach of peace – and he’s off to SUNY Farmingdale.

And what a breach it was. Gatti was accused of drunkenly bullying a Union Street Market manager into giving him a serving of bacon jalapeno mac ‘n’ cheese, which the manager denied Gatti because he allegedly saw him drinking alcohol in the Union.

A video of Gatti’s tirade surfaced and quickly went viral, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and various media outlets.

Soon after the video was released, Gatti published his own video of him apologizing to the manager and the university. The manager responded with a letter, challenging Gatti to visit him in Ecuador and help him build homes for needy families there.

Gatti, never backing down from a good fight, decided to visit Ecuador and ask for forgiveness. The court was apparently impressed by Gatti’s visit and determination to apologize.

This is the not the first time Gatti has been in trouble with the law. He was arrested twice at UMass Amherst under similarĀ circumstances, except he allegedly assaulted an officer and called another the N-word.

Gatti will be attending SUNY Farmingdale in Long Island, where he will most likely totally not screw up again.
