How to get the best view of UConn

Hint: it requires a lot of stairs

Worth a visit at night or during the day, alone or with friends (or someone special, possibly even two someones’ special if that works for you), this is an awesome spot from which to admire the various construction projects Susan currently has going on. The roof of MSB.

You can see Gampel, the cemetery view normally reserved for North residents, Jorgensen’s roof, some greenhouse things, and other elements of UConn’s skyline.

The elevator, as far as I can tell, doesn’t work at the moment, so you’ll find it easiest to take the stairs…which shouldn’t present a problem unless you don’t go here.

I took pictures at night and during the day in the last few weeks so if the opportunity never presents itself, you can get a little hint of what to expect. If you don’t mess up horribly you should end up behind those skinny windows on the top there above the greenhouse thing.

The journey

You’ll have quite a few flights to reach the top, since each floor has a couple sets of stairs.

The view

A bonus view

The markings of Huskies who ventured here before you.
