I don’t know if enough people realize this, because the RENT was not as crowded as it usually is.
But UConn is bowl eligible for the first time since 2011.
With a win over the thirteenth ranked Houston Cougars, UConn is now 6-5 on the year. This is a huge accomplishment considering the fact UConn only won two games last year.
The best part was that it happened on senior night for a group of young men who have had to put up with a great deal since they came to UConn four years ago.
Bob Diaco has remade this program into one that can be respected.
