Tina Fey to be honored for 2016 Lew Klein Excellence in the Media Award
She will also address TU students with a ‘Conversation with Students’ reception in October
In the annual Lew Klein Awards ceremony on October 7th, Tina Fey, one of the most accomplished actresses, writers and producers will be honored by Temple University’s School of Media and Communication.
The Lew Klein Awards honors successful alumni and media figures, and raises funds for student scholarships, according to SMC Temple’s website.
Although Tina is an alum of the University of Virginia – her brother and late father were both Temple SMC graduates. She recently established a scholarship to support veterans at Temple in honor of her father, who attend Temple after serving in the military.
Students can also rejoice with her exclusive “Conversation with Students” reception for students to attend in the fall.
