Finally, it’s legal to buy wine in Pennsylvania grocery stores

What a time to be alive

Wine lovers rejoice! Governor Wolf just signed a law on Wednesday to allow restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores to sell wine.

“For the last 80-some years we have not been able to do this, so this truly is historic,” Governor Wolf said.

I think we all can agree with Governor Wolf since this is the first time since the Prohibition that Pennsylvanians will be able to buy their own wine at any grocery store across the state.

The bill will take effect in 60 days, but it is reported to take months for consumers to see it in action. However, this will allow direct shipments of wine to homes, and removes restrictions on when State Stores can open on Sundays and holidays.

Till then, we must just wait till this bill takes full affect. *sips wine*
