Two people shot in Syracuse as campus is placed on orange alert

A police orange alert was placed on campus around 8.30pm this evening after two people were shot.

Students were told to stay indoors, take shelter, and stay out of Oakwood Cemetery while SPD investigate shots fired on Warner and Hope Avenues.

There is at least one helicopter in the air and multiple police sirens on the ground.
