Rutgers is one of the top 150 schools in America, says Forbes

We beat Penn State and Ohio State

Forbes released their 2016 list of America’s Top Colleges and Scarlet Knights now have something new to be proud of.

While the prestigious Ivy League and private schools topped the list, as one may expect, you’ll be surprised where our dear Rutgers ended up.

Rutgers made the list at #141, perhaps a bit of a letdown considering we love our noisy college so.

But we beat Penn State University, which ranks at #164, Syracuse which ranks at #144, The Ohio State University which ranks at #160, and The College of New Jersey which ranks at #179.

Tuition at Penn State and Syracuse are also more expensive than Rutgers tuition, so we’re getting more bang for our buck here on the banks of the Old Raritan.

So, what does this mean for us Scarlet Knights? Not much, since we already knew we went to a fabulous school. But now, Forbes has validated our beliefs.

Thanks, Forbes.
