BREAKING: Corey Sanders announces decision to enter the 2016 NBA draft

He will be entering the draft without an agent

As the 2015-16 men’s basketball season winds down, college basketball players are starting to make decisions on their playing career.

Add Corey Sanders to that list, as he announced on Twitter that he will be entering the 2016 NBA draft.

The star true freshman point guard made his announcement earlier today via Twitter.

Sanders says he will keep the decision to return to Rutgers open, however since he is entering without an agent, he has until May 25th to decide whether he will stay in the draft.

During his time at Rutgers he lead the Big Ten freshmen in scoring averaging over 16.2 points per game, eight of which he scored 20 or more points, while averaging 4.2 assists again. Pretty impressive for a freshman playing on what was the worst team in Big Ten basketball.
