Margaret Cho lost her mind at the Stress Factory Saturday night

People spit on her, fought in the audience, and demanded their money back

Margaret Cho, famous comedian, actress and social justice warrior, came to the Stress Factory on Church St in New Brunswick last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Cho’s last-sold-out show on Saturday ended horribly due to her rants about rape, dead comedians, and white supremacy.

Thursday and Friday’s shows went swimmingly complete with hilarious jokes about penises, drugs and tattoos. Jokes we can probably all relate to in some way or another. She even went as far as showing her bare ass on stage, so you can imagine how funny the show was.

Saturday was a different story.

The first show was amazing, according to an anonymous source, however, people were not happy with her last show on Saturday.

She went on stage and according to the source, seemed allegedly drunk, on pills, or both. She was slurring her words, leaning against the brick wall on the stage, and taking forever to get to the punchline – the polar opposite of her previous performances.

Part of her act for every show this weekend had a talking point about the topic of rape, based off of her own unfortunate history with domestic and sexual abuse. However, she did not get off the topic of rape on Saturday during her last show. She got emotional and angry, making people uneasy and looking for the exit.

We all know comedy has the flexibility to make people uncomfortable in a way that’s funny and relatable, but her jokes during her last show was uncomfortable, and definitely not in a good way.

Her jokes about dead comedian friends, like Joan Rivers, also evoked a mixed response.

Let me just say, based off my source and my personal experience being there, the staff handled it with such class and respect to the audience, promising to refund people. Despite this though Cho told the audience: “I don’t understand exactly what brought you here. No, you will never get a cent of your money back.”

Vinny Brand’s Stress Factory has been around a long time hosting the best in the business. In April, comedians like Pete Davidson from SNL, Craig Robinson from Hot Tub Time Machine, Julian McCullough from Inside Amy Schumer, and a lot more.

Speaking about the incident on Twitter, Cho wrote:
