Former Rutgers football players, Leonte Carroo and Steve Longa, are partaking in the five-day-long excursion to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine.

The 6 feet 1 inch, 211-pound former wide receiver, Carroo, is  trying to take his talent to the NFL as a wide receiver, according to NFL.com. His teammate, Longa, was an outside linebacker for Rutgers and if all goes well,  he will be joining the NFL as well.

For those who just say no to sports, you guys may ask, “What is the NFL Combine and how does it work?”

The combine is a week-long tryout where players of all different positions display their talents in front of coaches, scouts, and/or general managers of NFL football teams.

“Tuesday and Wednesday  in Indianapolis was interviews with the media for running backs, offensive linemen, special teamers, quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends. Wednesday is press interviews with defensive linemen and linebackers and on-field workouts and on-field workouts for running backs, offensive linemen and special teamers,’’ according to NFL.com.

Saturday and Sunday are the days we want to tune in to cheer on the best players we had last season.

According to NFL.com, Carroo hits the field Saturday and Longa, with statistics from scarletknights.com of 123 tackles, 7.5 for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, four pass break-ups last season, shows up to play on Sunday.

How cool would it be to say you watched a NFL player play football before he got to the NFL?
