Blake Shelton to headline first concert at Beaver Stadium

And even more importantly, beer will finally be sold

At last night’s Iowa game, Penn State Athletics announced that Blake Shelton will be the headliner at the first ever, and highly anticipated, concert at Beaver Stadium set for July 8, 2017.

The concert is set up in a festival style with different acts performing throughout the day including performances from Chris Young, Big & Rich, David Ray, and Adley Stump. There is no doubt that this will be a perfect reason for country music fans from across the state to travel to Happy Valley.

Even more importantly, this is the first time beer and wine will be sold in the stadium — a reason for anyone to celebrate.

Beaver Stadium is the second-largest stadium in the country, seating 106,572 fans and easily sells out for the Nittany Lions during the football season. We’ll just have to wait and see if Shelton can do the same.
