Ryn Weaver is coming to PSU on November 4

From Lollapalooza to Alumni Hall

With her debut album “The Fool” and her hit song “OctaHate” topping the charts at number one, Ryn Weaver made quite the entrance into the music world and now she is making her entrance to Penn State as part of SPA’s LateNight performances on Friday, November 4, at 10pm.

Weaver is on Time’s list of ’15 musical artists to watch for in 2015′ and also appeared on ’25 Artists You Need to Start Listening to in 2015.’ She also performed her hit song, “OctaHate” on the David Letterman show.

The 22-year-old songwriter from San Diego spent time in high school playing in bands and writing songs and went to college in Manhattan and ran into a producer, Benny Blanco (who’s worked with Rihanna, Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5). Blanco and Weaver started on working on music two years ago in LA and she now has her debut album.

All students with valid ID can see Ryn Weaver at Alumni Hall on Friday November 4th at 10pm.
