Penn State will now sell alcohol at football games
But it’s not what you think
Recently, Penn State has made the decision to sell alcohol in Beaver Stadium as well as other campus venues including the BJC. While this sounds awesome (and it is if you are an alumni), the alcohol will not be made available to everyone, especially those of us destined for the student section.
As part of the renovations that are expected to begin in the near future to Beaver Stadium, alcohol will be sold in places like club seats, suites, and other reception areas, making it available to only 4,440 people in a building with a capacity of 107,000.
It’s cool, we’ll just drink up at the tailgates.
