We blew it! Northwestern break Penn State hearts with late field goal

Northwestern 23 Penn State 21

Penn State just lost to Northwestern thanks to a 35-yard field goal in the dying moments.

After falling 20-7 behind in the fast half, the Lions edged into a 21-20 lead…and then we blew it right at the end.

There were some bright moments for the Nittany Lions, as Carl Nassib became program leader in season sacks, and Christian Hackenberg drilled the ref in the face with the ball.

But we lost, and the knives are out for coach James Franklin, who is being blamed for bad clock management.
