The ‘NYU Crushes’ Facebook page is pretty much our favorite thing ever right now

Just in time for Valentine’s Day

A little anonymous gem, created just in time for Valentine’s Day is your one and only source to share your feelings about a crush before it’s too late. Thank you oh fellow randomer who created NYU Crushes for those who are a little shy and just need a platform to share their little dirty secrets. Not gonna lie, I won’t be getting featured on this page, however that doesn’t stop others from sharing just a little too much about their crushes.

The point of this group, which popped up on our Facebook feeds on February 9th, is to “share the love for all the good-looking people at NYU” and my god do we need some love. Yes. Midterm season is upon us. And so is Valentine’s Day. When I spoke to the mysterious “guy” behind this endeavor he said: “I just decided to make this page to procrastinate. I was thinking about Valentine’s day, all my friends were complaining about not having a Valentine, blah blah, so I thought this could be the next best thing.” We’ve noticed, and we’ll be your Valentine any day.

The anonymous creator added: “I actually know quite a few of the people who have gotten submissions about them, and it really just puts a little smile on their face and gives them a little boost (sometimes too much of a boost, to be honest). But whatever, they’re feeling themselves, haha.”

This group has a bunch of posts that I highly encourage y’all enjoy in your spare time but there are a few that really “caught my eye”.

While some were super cute, detailed and amazing, others were a little creepy…

I hope Liza feels the same way….

And a few like it rough.

Not sure whether that’s a compliment….?

That sounds a little painful, we’re sorry Tyler.

And there were people who liked to keep it general and simple.

This page has definitely been received well. The owner told me: “As how I think we’re doing, it’s was pretty fun seeing my like count go up in 100’s, going to bed the first night with 300 likes after like three hours.”

Well, good luck to you buddy and if you’re feeling lonely this Valentine’s Day you now have a platform to share your feelings on about that special someone – you never know if cupid is watching. We are and that’s why we’re helping this person find their true love:

WHAT IS HIS NAME? If there ever was a truer love…
