UPDATE: Body found on Texas State campus
The situation is under investigation
Police found the body of student Travis Green on the Texas State Main Campus in the ASB North building located between The Den and Old Main today.
Matt Flores, a university spokesman, said the body is the result of an apparent suicide and is still currently under investigation in a statement to The University Star.
Green was a Terry Scholar at Texas State and the news of his death shook the campus community. An outpouring of support and sadness quickly spread across social media.
The school has made free counseling available for any students who might need someone to talk to, as well as publishing numbers for the three suicide crisis lines listed below.
