BREAKING: Pope Francis confirms he will speak at Georgetown commencement

HALLELUJAH

Georgetown’s Class of 2016 will have their commencement graced with a special presence, as none other than Pope Francis has confirmed his appearance.

In a Vatican statement released earlier today, a spokesperson for Pope Francis said: “His Holiness has confirmed a small but significant list of appearance in the United States this Spring.”

The statement went on to say: “He will travel various cities and visit the commencement ceremony for Georgetown University after a delegate from the Catholic college reached out to him earlier this year.

“His Eminence holds the institution very close to his heart and is extremely excited to greet the Class of 2016”.

Pope Frankie follows an impressive list of previous commencement speakers and special guests.

He’s expected to visit many landmarks when he comes, and eat a special meal at Leo’s with 12 esteemed guests.
