UF is now allowed to sell alcohol at sporting events

Beer and wine will now be available starting in the Fall

In an effort to bring in more revenue, the University of Florida Athletic Association announced on Wednesday that starting in the Fall, alcohol will be sold at certain sporting events.

Patrons with premium seating will now be able to purchase beer and wine at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium during football games and at the O’Connell Center during men’s basketball games.

The school has multiple million-dollar projects currently underway on campus and with the demand for alcohol present at games, this is a sure way to bring in more money.

Along with the multi-million dollar projects, the school also pays it’s athletes a monthly stipend. Alcohol provided for those who can drink it will definitely bring in more revenue, especially with the Fall football season looking to be very promising.

Drink responsibly everyone and go Gators!
