Russian billionaire shoots hoops at Duke
Showing off his workout skills
Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov was in the K Centre today – telling his NBA stars how to exercise their abs.
The eccentric owner of the Brooklyn Nets and former presidential candidate was on campus to watch his team at their pre-season training camp, but soon he was imparting amateur fitness tips.
Basketball reporter Rod Boone’s Twitter timeline has all the mad videos.
Athletes laughed as Prokhorov said “let me show you one excellent exercise for toning your abs” in the gym.
His visit at Duke was announced in a video to his players last week.
Prokhorov said: “I am packing my bags and I am looking forward to seeing you very soon at Duke University.”

Prokhorov came third in the Russian presidential election in 2012, and is reportedly worth over $10 billion, having made his money in precious metals.
Duke alum and Nets wing defender Dahntay Jones said he was “prepared well” by the Duke programme.
He said: “My whole foundation comes from Duke basketball.”
