Beer Pong at WHQ

At last an event being promoted which has the potential to be a corker, Studacity bring you the Newcastle Student Beer Pong Championship 2012.

128 Teams, 20 Tables, and 5 Hours of Beer Pong tomorrow night, starting at 6pm is one for the diary.

“Come a rookie, leave a legend” is the tagline of one of the most highly anticipated tournaments since every England build up to World Cups.

Teams of 2 will compete in a single-elimination tournament. 1st Place takes home £150, 2nd Place takes home £50. Ain’t nothing but pride on the line for 3rd place.

Mike Stenhouse from Studacity had this to say:

“I set it up after spending a year studying in Vancouver and falling in love with beer pong. It’s also intended to raise awareness of Studacity, which itself promotes and raises awareness of events and businesses/venues in Newcastle which are of interest to Students. Where The Tab provides the news, Studacity provides the social calendar.”

It promises to be a fierce competition with competitors having been in arduous training for weeks. The victors will have bragging rights for life and everyone else a distant memory of a boozy night.
