Azeem is coming to Squirrels this freshers’

1,000 people are already attending


Azeem Ward is set to hit Manchester freshers’ with a special appearance at Squirrels. 

The flute player shocked worldwide social media just months ago after his senior flute recital got over 100,000 attendees on Facebook.

The British sense of humour led to 50k people streaming the live performance over the web.

And now he’s coming to Manchester.

Musical legend Azeem is playing at Squirrels Bar this Freshers’

Squirrels, the heart of the Fallowfield campus social scene has managed to snap up the teen for  September 24th.

The bar posted on the event page: “This is not a joke, we’ve booked Azeem to come and play in Squirrels Bar during freshers. It’s took all summer but we finally got him!

“A night of great music is guaranteed (he’s currently learning Sandstorm by Darude) with several acts also performing while we take Azeem for a cheeky Nando’s and then up to meet Tom Alridge’s mum in a certain massage parlour…”

The event already has over 1,000 attendees, so its bound to see Squirrels the most packed out it has been for years.

 

 

 

 

The news has been met with shock and excitement, and disbelief by the 1,000 people that have clicked attending on the event. Second year English Literature student Naomi said: “He should’ve headlined Pangaea.”

The announcement of this night has also been followed by the news that the overnight sensation is headlining a night at the Students’ Union the day after, joined by Californian DJ Underbelly.
