Well it seems bosses of the peri peri chain have a clucky sense of humour, and have forked out a £50 voucher for his second date, according to the restaurant’s Twitter page.

Adnan Januzaj famously spent only £18 on a chicken meal when he took Melissa, 25, on a ‘romantic’ evening out earlier this year.
“I’ve never met anyone so stingy in my life”, she said in an interview after the shambolic night.

He also turned up wearing a pair of trackie bottoms, and after dinner, asked to be taken home at 9pm – guess he chickened out of his dessert.
Should Melissa choose to accept a possible second attempt with the 19 year old winger, he might let her off footing the parking bill this time, and may even treat her to a side of perinaise.
