At the Love Island USA season eight reunion, Melanie and Sincere revealed that they’re not boyfriend and girlfriend. They are still dating each other, just without that official title quite yet.
“We are not boyfriend and girlfriend,” she said about their relationship status. This comes just a month after leaving the Love Island USA villa. “We’re just kind of seeing what happens in the outside world.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood on the day of the reunion, Sincere said that he and Melanie are “still taking it really slow day by day.” They’re “understanding each other outside of the villa and how we operate.” He went on to say that he’s “looking forward to turning this ship around” and that he’s “putting one foot in front of the other.”
Sincere said that they’re both on the same page in terms of their relationship, and they want to “just take it slow and really get to understand each other outside of here.”

The reunion was filmed in early August, so things have changed in the past few weeks with their relationship status.
Even though they originally said they were exclusive, in an interview with Vulture, Melanie’s since said otherwise: “We’re not exclusive; we’re not boyfriend-girlfriend. I’m also not in a rush to get that title. I know how he feels about me, but I think I just want to take it day by day.”
Melanie and Sincere were seen out and about together in LA a couple of weeks ago. Compared to the other couples, they were keeping things under wraps, so this relationship update makes total sense now.
