Faye takes swipe at Ciara and Ajay’s financial dynamics after Love Is Blind UK

Oop, it looks like there might be some slight tension in the air between Ciara and Faye after Love Is Blind UK, as she admitted that she “doesn’t agree with someone funding your entire lifestyle.”

During an interview with Anthony Gilét, he asked Faye and Jack: “There was a lot of discussion about Ciara’s financial situation with AJ. What’s the financial dynamic like in your relationship?”

Faye responded: “Well, I think we’re very fair. Like I… I kind of… It sounds a bit like modern, but I don’t fully agree with someone funding your entire lifestyle. I think it should be very 50/50.

“And like, also, I’m not saying, like, Jack will still treat me to things and do nice things to me, and that’s like a treat, but I would never expect someone to fund my lifestyle.”

Jack then added: “If we go for lunch, we’ll probably split the bill. But then if I wanna take Faye out, then I’ll spoil her, pay for the whole thing, you know? But there’s no expectations from anyone, no.”

Love Is Blind UK star Ciara previously addressed criticism surrounding the fact she had a £300 minimum spend on the first date, telling Tudum: “A key piece of context is that I set my standards high because they used to be very low. I would invest so much time into these men — as in time, love, money — and receive nothing back.

“So I was like, ‘OK, something’s not working. What can I do?’ If somebody wants to actually spend time with me, literally invest time in me. And I spend a lot of time getting ready for these dates, so why shouldn’t they take the time to plan and pay for that first date?”

She added: “Obviously, take it with a pinch of salt. I’m not pulling out a card machine and asking for a deposit. And I think girls should have their version of that — like, ask for flowers every week or expect to get picked up on the first date. I don’t think these standards are unreasonable. There will truly be men out there who will do that if they want to.”
