Ajay got really emotional on Love Is Blind UK, when he opened up about his late friend Ithiel’s death. He revealed he died from SADS, which is diagnosed when someone dies after a cardiac arrest, but no cause can be found. Ciara was there for him, and listened to his story.
He said his “biggest regret is that he didn’t say bye properly,” and that moment has now been shared by the British Heart Foundation. They shared the scene between Ajay and Ciara, and he commented with, “It has touched me so deeply that you’ve posted this. Thank you.”

Ithiel Bilson-Graham, a 20-year-old rising basketball star from the Brixton Topcats and Burnley College Basketball Academy, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at his London home on June 1st, 2012. He had a BTEC Extended Diploma in Business and Finance.
He was the academy’s top scorer and 6ft 6in tall, just like Ajay. In a witness statement, paramedic Ruth Cheeseman quoted his mother as saying he had earlier “come home from a night out and started playing computer games,” as told to Lancashire Telegraph.

His sister, Ishara, will be running the London marathon to raise money in his memory. She wrote: “Losing Ithiel is something I’ve carried with me for years. Although life moves forward, you never stop wishing you could’ve done something to change what happened.”
Pathologist Sebastian Lucas gave cause of death as acute cardiac failure and sudden arrhythmic death syndrome with a normal heart. He concluded a defect was “most likely inherent abnormality of the heart”. Ithiel is described as a ‘”legend who could make anyone smile”.
