Love Is Blind’s Lydia shares the normal everyday activity that Milton was really against
She stopped doing it altogether
Lydia has revealed what led to her filing for divorce from Milton three years after Love Is Blind, and one main thing was his stance on her wearing swimsuits. She claimed on the What’s The Reality? podcast that he “never wanted to imagine his woman as promiscuous.”
Lydia reveals Milton was against her wearing swimsuits
Lydia has shared that Milton was not happy with her wearing swimsuits, so she stopped wearing them altogether. She said, “That was another whole fight. I tried to meet him down the middle, I was like, okay, ‘This is not too cheeky.’ But I have a big butt, I’m Latina.”
Claiming he’s more conservative than on Love Is Blind, “I like my swimsuits, my thing is my swimsuits. I look good in them. As a Puerto Rican, we always love wearing swimsuits. At first he presented it as like, ‘I want people to see you as more than your body.'”
She continued: “That’s how it started. The exchange was he was going to stop liking women’s pictures. I stopped [posting photos in bikinis] and he didn’t [stop liking women’s photos].” Lydia also recalled how she’d asked Milton in the pods if he minds what his woman wears.
Lydia ‘kept saying she didn’t know what went wrong’
Lydia has taken accountability in the end of her marriage to Milton. She said she “wasn’t going to keep choosing feeling small and belittled” because their “values weren’t the same,” adding that she “wants to be vulnerable.”
“I’ll just be alone, because I felt alone in my marriage,” Lydia added, saying how Milton would often play on his games all day and did so on her birthday, which would “take away from their quality time” as he “had no self-control.”
