Love Is Blind season eight stars Taylor and Daniel Hastings are coming through with all the wholesomeness on their IG pages.
Since they met and married sight unseen, as Nick Lachey likes to say, they’ve gone on to only strengthen their relationship.
People are constantly flooding the couple’s comments sections with how happy they are for them and how much of an adorable couple they are.
But, it turns out there’s a whole chapter of Taylor’s history that went unsaid. Now, she’s spilling the tea!
Taylor called off a wedding before Love Is Blind?!
During Daria & Toni Unwrapped, the show’s hosts are keen to tell Taylor and Daniel how sweet they think both of their families are.
Speaking on the podcast, Taylor explained that her family is lovely, but they were super apprehensive about her taking part in the show.
Daniel’s was, too, but Taylor said hers had good reason to be concerned.
“Mine was a bit hesitant, they knew where I was going for the show, but it was like ‘am I actually going to find someone?’ and ‘are we actually going to get married within six weeks? highly unlikely…'” Taylor explained.
She continued: “A part of my story that wasn’t included in the show was that I was previously engaged five years ago so my family had seen me broken after calling off a wedding and being so close to that and it not working out…”
The Love Is Blind star added: “So, they came in with an added sense of protection for me.”
She also said she felt her “past engagement was a large part of their story” and “it wasn’t included at all.”
“Wow, that’s so much context that’s left out for viewers, as well, so I thought that was something left out that could’ve given a bit more…” the reality star added.
