Kate Hudson reveals how Scott Disick’s random Running Point cameo happened in the first place

Scott Disick isn’t exactly a stranger to appearing in slightly random shows, and his most recent cameo in Running Point alongside Kate Hudson was brief but iconic. Exactly what you should get from a celebrity cameo.
Scott Disick appeared very briefly in episode seven of Running Point, in a wild scene taking place in a restaurant. During the moment, Isla got punched by the mum of one of her star basketball players, with Scott watching the whole thing unfold in the background.
And Scott wasn’t even playing a character but himself, as Bonnie, the mum who punched Isla, was asking him whether she could get introduced to Kris Jenner. What a crossover.
After Isla got punched, Scott started talking to her, saying: “Are you okay? It was crazy when that lady punched you in the face.”
In an interview with People, Kate Hudson revealed exactly how Scott Disick ended up appearing as himself in Running Point, explaining: “It was just fun. We were just, like, in that moment, who would be the person that would be the most random person to witness Isla get hit in L.A.? It was Scott.”
She said that whilst there was “a lot of stuff happening” in the scene, she and her co-stars felt they “could do a whole thing with Scott.”
She added: “I want it to be longer. I’m glad he came through. It was so fun.”
Could this be the start of Scott’s new acting career? After his appearance with Chrishell Stause in a TV series and now this, it seems he’s getting to be a bit of a regular.
