Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie’s chemistry with Ella Rubin in Amazon Prime Video’s Sterling Point is seriously off the charts, but viewers have also started wondering about his life away from the show, including who he’s dating in real life. Jacob plays Ellis, the local seaplane pilot who quickly becomes close to Annie (Ella Rubin) after she arrives in Sterling Point. And, naturally, the chemistry between the two actors has already had everyone wondering whether there could be something going on off screen, too. But there’s no evidence that Ella and Jacob are dating. In fact, Ella has been linked to actor Skyler Gisondo, although neither has publicly confirmed that they’re in a relationship. Jacob, meanwhile, has actually confirmed that he has a girlfriend. So, who is she? One of the clearest public records of her modelling work comes from photographer Ulysses Saniel, who featured Océane in a 2023 Milan shoot for GOJI magazine. Outside of modelling, Océane is also pretty active on social media. She has more than 19k followers on TikTok and more than 5k followers on Instagram. She posts a mix of modelling content, fashion, lifestyle posts and personal photos. There isn’t loads of publicly available information about her relationship with Jacob, and neither of them appears to have given a detailed interview about their romance. So, there’s no confirmed timeline for exactly when they started dating. But Océane’s social media presence and posts connected to her account have shown her with Jacob. Jacob himself has also confirmed that he has a girlfriend. He first gained attention for his role as Jimmy in the coming-of-age film A Colony, which was directed by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles. The film was selected for the Berlin International Film Festival and earned several awards and nominations. He also starred as Xavier in the Canadian youth series First Line, also known as Premier trio. Radio-Canada’s official press material lists Jacob as one of the show’s main cast members. His other screen credits include Falcon Lake, District 31, Troubled Waters and Billie Blue. And now, of course, Sterling Point has put him firmly on the radar of a much bigger international audience.
