Is Sterling Point’s Ella Rubin actually dating Skyler Gisondo?! The rumours are everywhere

Ella Rubin is currently everywhere thanks to her starring role in Amazon Prime Video’s new series Sterling Point, but people have also become pretty curious about what’s going on in her love life.

The actor, who plays Annie Jacobson in the new teen drama, has previously appeared in The Idea of You, Anora and Fear Street: Prom Queen, as well as shows including The Chair, The Girl from Plainville and the Gossip Girl revival.

So, naturally, now that Sterling Point has been released, people want to know more about Ella outside of the show. And there’s one name that keeps coming up: Skyler Gisondo.

You might recognise Skyler from The Righteous Gemstones, Licorice Pizza or, more recently, Superman. He’s also set to star alongside Ariana Grande in the upcoming Focker-In-Law.

But are Ella Rubin and Skyler Gisondo actually dating?

There have been a lot of rumours that the two are dating, largely because Ella and Skyler have been spotted together at a number of events over the past couple of years.

As per Cosmopolitan, Ella and Skyler were first photographed together at the premiere of Masters of the Air in January 2024. Ella appeared in the Apple TV+ miniseries, so the two being at the same event isn’t necessarily romantic evidence on its own.

But they were also photographed together the following month at a New York Knicks game, which gave people another reason to wonder whether there might be something more going on.

Then, in January 2025, Ella and Skyler were spotted at another Knicks game. This time, they were actually featured in the Knicks’ TikTok account’s roundup of celebrity attendees.

Things got a little more interesting in May 2025, when Ella and Skyler attended an immersive experience connected to Ella’s film Fear Street: Prom Queen. The two were photographed together at the event and, well, they certainly looked pretty close.

Then, in January 2026, Ella and Skyler attended a Vanity Fair and Amazon MGM Studios awards-season party, where they were photographed with Wednesday actor Isaac Ordonez.

So, by this point, the pair had been seen together at various events over the course of a couple of years. And yet, neither of them had publicly confirmed that they were dating.

But did Skyler Gisondo have a girlfriend?

During a 2025 interview with Young Hollywood, Skyler was asked how he found out that he had a page on wikiFeet. He responded that his girlfriend might have sent it to him. However, he didn’t reveal who his girlfriend was.

So, whether Ella and Skyler are dating each other remains unconfirmed, as there’s no public confirmation from either actor that they’re in a relationship. But their repeated appearances together have definitely got people talking.
